Here you will find a table always set, the scent of freshly milked milk and aged cheese, an armchair overlooking the mountains, and all the time you need to breathe.
We took over this adventure from our father and made it our own, each in our own way: Lara in the kitchen and hospitality, Ruben in the fields, among the vines and the animals.
We like to think that La Chabranda is not just a place to sleep and eat, but a little corner of the world where you can truly pause, feel welcomed, and enjoy an unhurried chat.

Nothing is wasted: milk becomes cheese, the vegetable garden nourishes the kitchen, and the animals are raised with respect and butchered with care, only when the time is right.

At La Chabranda, the table is that of a true mountain home: set menus, generous portions, and recipes prepared the old way, slowly, with no shortcuts.
We knead fresh pasta by hand, roast meats in their own juices, and end the meal with simple, genuine desserts, served in a warm and homely setting that invites you to stay and talk a little longer.
Our cooking begins with the great Piedmontese classics: at the table you will find our cured meats and cheeses, along with dishes created to warm you up after a day outdoors between Val Germanasca and Val Chisone.
Here you can taste symbolic recipes from the Waldensian communities: from soupo barbetto to potato calhettes, and humble dishes born of resourcefulness that tell a story of mountain life and sobriety.
Almost everything that reaches your plate is born here: vegetables, fruit, mountain potatoes, grapes for Ramìe, meat from our farm, and cheeses made from the raw milk of our agricultural estate.
